It was an honor to help induct the new Board Members of the Edmonds Waterfront Center this week.

Their commitment to serving one of Edmonds’ most important community resources is exactly what makes our city so special. I’m grateful for their leadership and look forward to seeing the impact of their work in our community.

The Edmonds Waterfront Center (EWC) during its Jan. 8 meeting inducted four new members to the board of directors and elected board officers for 2026. City Councilmember Erika Barnett presided […]

I’m excited to share that my official Oath of Office ceremony will take place this Saturday, December 13th, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Asian Service Center. The event is open to the public, and I’d love to see you there.

Judge Tam Bui, our newly elected Washington State Court of Appeals Judge, will administer the oath to both Councilmember Will Chen and me.

If you can’t make it this Saturday, there will also be a ceremonial swearing-in before the first Edmonds City Council meeting on January 6th.

I am deeply grateful for your support over the past year and look forward to serving our wonderful City of Edmonds as your newest Council Member.

Hope to see you soon!

We did it, Edmonds! 💙

Thank you to Alex Newman for his gracious call this evening. I appreciate the respect and positivity he brought to this race, and I know he will continue to be a constructive voice in our community.

And thank you to everyone who voted — whether you supported me or supported Alex. (𝘌𝘥𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘷𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘵 57.7%!) This community shows, time and again, how much it cares about its future. Edmonds is strongest when more people engage, ask questions, and share their perspectives.

I am honored to serve as your next City Councilmember for Position 3. We have important work ahead of us — from bringing greater fiscal responsibility and transparency to City Hall, to strengthening public safety, to protecting the quality of life that makes Edmonds special.

I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work with our residents, staff, and fellow councilmembers.

Thank you for your trust.
Let’s get to work — and let’s go, Edmonds!

Councilmember–Elect, Edmonds Position 3

What an incredible journey this campaign has been. 💙

I’ve learned so much over the past few months — about our community, our shared values, and yes, even a bit about the ups and downs of local politics. Through it all, the best part has been talking with so many of you — hearing your different perspectives, your hopes for Edmonds, and realizing how much common ground we actually share.

No matter where we come from politically, most of us want the same things: fiscal responsibility, transparency, and thoughtful stewardship of this place we all love to call home. Those conversations have been inspiring and reaffirmed my belief that Edmonds truly thrives because of its people.

To everyone who supported, volunteered, or simply took the time to share your thoughts — thank you. Your encouragement, honesty, and kindness mean the world to me. And to my family — Jeff, Sarah, and Evan — thank you for being my constant source of strength and laughter through it all.

However the results shake out, I’m proud of the campaign we ran — grounded in community, conversation, and care. Edmonds is special because we all keep showing up for one another.

Let’s finish strong — ballots are due TODAY by 8 PM! 🗳️
Vote, and make your voice heard for the future of our amazing town.

📣 In case you missed it!
The Edmonds Beacon just published its candidate Q&A — including where we stand on Proposition 1 and Edmonds’ path forward.

Whether Prop 1 passes or not, I’m ready to help us navigate what’s next with transparency, fiscal accountability, and a collaborative approach that keeps Edmonds safe, vibrant, and true to its small-town charm.

🗳️ If you haven’t voted yet, drop your ballot in a county drop box before 8 p.m. this Tuesday, Nov 4 — let’s do this, Edmonds!

🎃 Get Out and Vote, Edmonds! 🗳️

Heading downtown for tonight’s Trick-or-Treat festivities? Don’t forget to drop your ballot off on the way! You can swing by the Edmonds Library or any official drop box location before Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 4th.

I’ll be downtown this evening helping serve hotdogs and hand out candy in front of Salish Sea Brewing Company! 🍬🌭 Stop by our Hotdog & Hot Pretzel Tent — proceeds benefit the Edmonds Boys & Girls Club.

Come say hi, grab a bite, support a great cause, and make sure your voice is heard at the ballot box.

🏆 Team Edmonds Wins the City Spirit Games! 🏆

What a fantastic afternoon at Edmonds Village Senior Living, where teams from Edmonds, Lynnwood, and Mukilteo came together for some friendly competition and a whole lot of laughter! Events like this remind us how strong our region is when our cities collaborate—not just in games, but in ideas.

I had great conversations with Councilmember Jason Moon (Mukilteo) and Councilmember Dercia Escamilla (Lynnwood) about ways our cities can stay connected—sharing insights on things like red light camera effectiveness, vendor partnerships, and even cross-town promotions, such as a shuttle connecting the Lynnwood Light Rail, Mukilteo waterfront, and Edmonds beaches and shops.

When we come together as a community, everyone wins.
(Though this time, Edmonds took home the trophy!) 🥇💪

🌊 Community connections and waterfront views!

Jeff and I are excited to officially join the Edmonds Waterfront Center as members! Can’t wait to try out the classes and really take advantage of this wonderful multi-generational gem we have right here on our waterfront. 💙

I also stopped by the Daybreakers Rotary “Wingo” event at the Edmonds Opera House — such a fun evening with great costumes, good laughs, and our friend Robbie Dee rocking the stage as Edmonds’ favorite Elvis. 🎸 Spent some time catching up with Jeff the Wine Guy, always a familiar face at Edmonds’ most festive gatherings! 🍷

So much to love about this community. 💛
