The Friends of the Edgewater Public Library held their Monthly meeting on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the library. After the meeting they had their Appreciation Luncheon for the year. The theme for the Luncheon was Hawaiian Luau.... As you can see from the outfits, and the big smiles everyone had a fabulous time. Next meeting will be in September.... Have a wonderful summer vacation, and be safe....

Community Crafters Program was held on Friday, April, 24, 2026, at the Edgewater Public Library. Theme of day: "BUTTERFLIES". All crafts will be donated to residents at local nursing homes.

Friends of the Edgewater Public Library held their monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. The Scholarship committee, has chosen the five students that will be receiving scholarships on Honors Night at New Smyrna Beach High School. The committee receive gifts of candy, cards, and graduation caps for all of their work. Celia won a beautiful candle in the monthly lottery. All members were asked to donate protein items to be given to Gifts of Love Organization. If you would like to donate you can bring items to the Community Crafting Class on Friday. Erica, Head Librarian presented three new games that will be used at the Fall Festival which will be held in September. The next meeting of the Friends will be held on Tuesday, May 19th, at 1:30 pm at the Edgewater Library....

Combined Appreciation Luncheon for the Friends of the Edgewater Public Library and the Friends of the Oak Hill Public Library was held today, March 26th, at the Edgewater Library. as you can see from the photos it was a large group of Ladies and Gentlemen. You may also notice from the big smiles that everyone was having a terrific time. the food was good, and the smiles, and laughter contagious.

The Friends of the Edgewater Public Library held their monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, St Patrick's Day. Members were introduced to special visitors from the South East Volusia County Y, Jared and Gloria. Ladies were also introduced to newest library staff person Nathan. Genie won a prize for the best dressed St Patrick's day Person, and Two lucky ladies won the lottery and they were: Glinda and Celia... congratulations to the lucky winners. Fabulous group of ladies enjoying St Patrick's Day at the Edgewater Public Library.
