Eatonville Council Talk

Eatonville Council Talk I'm Bob Walter, one of five members of the Eatonville Town Council. Your other means of having a voice in local government are many.

I'm hoping to generate informal citizen discourse to make our town more meaningful and lovable. This page is meant to be a forum for Eatonville residents to share and debate their ideas, their take on the issues and their vision for what Eatonville could be. It’s also one of your available means to interact with your town council – or one member at least. But I can and will share the input with th

e other council members from time to time during meetings. Attend council meetings (either just to observe or to comment as well), committee meetings (They’re posted monthly on the town’s website, on the front window at the clerk’s office, and on the readerboard.) and planning commission meetings. You also have access to meeting agendas and minutes on the town website, and can view past committee agendas and minutes in a binder at Town Hall. Here, I’m hoping for stuff from residents that’s fun, heartwarming, creative and distinctly Eatonville! No personal attacks, no vulgar, profane or threatening comments allowed. Thank you for keeping this experiment in civil engagement civil!
