An Important Update from the Eastford Republican Town Committee:
The positions Jadon MacCormack has been promoting are rooted in division and hostility, and they run counter to the basic values of respect, dignity, and liberty that hold communities together. When public voices spread messages that demean and attack others, it harms more than individuals; it erodes the sense of safety that we all deserve.
Moments like this call for people to show up, speak out, and reaffirm what kind of community we want to be. That’s why Experience Eastford Day, this Saturday (tomorrow) matters. From 10 in the morning until 2 in the afternoon (4 hours) at the Eastford Elementary School, we’re calling for all Republicans from Eastford (and those in Brooklyn, Mansfield, Pomfret, Ashford, Woodstock, and Hampton) to attend and sign a petition to give Former Pomfret Selectman Tony Emilio access to the ballot to primary Mr. MacCormack.
We need as many signatures of registered Republican voters as we can get this weekend. If you cannot make it to Eastford Day, please message us -- Chris Bowen at [email protected] or Charles Catania at [email protected] -- and we will try to get the petition to you.
Adding your name to the petition is a simple but meaningful way to push back against the hate and support a better future for everyone.
