Brightpoint Stronger Beginnings for Families

Brightpoint Stronger Beginnings for Families The Stronger Beginnings for Families program is offered in Brightpoint's Southern Region.

SBFF partners with expectant families and families with children under 36 months to nurture attachment and foster healthy family-child relationships to positively impact child development and ensure every child can begin school ready to succeed. Brightpoint’s Stronger Beginnings for Families is a FREE and voluntary program that works to provide prevention and intervention services to at-risk prena

tal mothers and infants and toddlers (from birth through age 2) and their families. The goal of the Stronger Beginnings for Families program is to provide early, continuous, intensive and comprehensive child development and family support services to help families prepare their children for later school success. The program provides parent education, family-child bonding activities, developmental screenings and assessments, referral services, family support and case management services. The program helps to further maximize the Illinois State Board of Education’s (ISBE) current funding of pre-kindergarten programs, thus developing a seamless system and a smooth transition into the 3 to 5 age education programs.
