We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organized to memorialize those from Michigan who lost their lives in the September 11, 2001 attacks, and honor brave men and women who endanger themselves to save others on a daily basis. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission to ensure that future generations remember September 11, 2001 as a day of loss and tragedy, and also as a day of heroism a

nd sacrifice. We do so by remembering and honoring those who lost their lives on 9/11/01, including 19 with Michigan connections, and by celebrating and thanking the brave men and women across Michigan who protect and serve our local communities and the nation on a daily basis.

On this 20th anniversary of 9/11 help ensure that the memory of that day endures. Your donation of $20 or more will support our efforts to remember those lost in the attacks, especially those with ties to Michigan, to ensure future generations understand the magnitude of the day, and to celebrate the heroism of the first responders of 9-11 and those who serve our communities each day. Our goal is to reach 2,977 donations, one for each life lost in the 9/11 attacks. Please help us remember.

• 8:46 a.m. Five hijackers crash American Airlines Flight 11 into the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
• 9:03 a.m. Five hijackers crash United Airlines Flight 175 into the South Tower of the World Trade Center.
• 9:37 a.m. Five hijackers crash American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon.
• 9:59 a.m. The South Tower of the World Trade Center collapses in a mere 10 seconds.
• 10:03 a.m. Four hijackers crash United Airlines Flight 93 in a field near Shanksville, Pa.
• 10:28 a.m. The North Tower of the World Trade Center collapses after burning for 102 minutes.

Wenworth Park in Downtown Lansing is home to this 9-11 memorial, at which we today placed a remembrance floral display. The public is invited to a remembrance ceremony at the park on 9/11/2021 at 8:30 am. Mayor Andy Schor and Congresswomen Elissa Slotkin will be featured speakers.
