Tonight at 1933 hours the East Islip Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire at Riley Fibbers on Carleton Ave. First Assistant Chief Hand was first on scene and reported the outside rear of the building on fire with extension inside the structure. The working fire was transmitted at 1941 hours by Chief of Department Robert Scharfschwerdt. Mutual aid was provided by Islip FD, Islip Terrace FD, Central Islip, Bay Shore FD, West Sayville FD, Sayville FD, Brentwood FD and Exchange Ambulance. The fire was under control at 1957 hours.
