šŸŽ‰ Happy 4th Birthday, Morgan! šŸ¾šŸŽ‚

If you see SRO Connor and Morgan today, make sure you wish Morgan a very Happy 4th Birthday!

SRO Connor and Morgan have been busy this summer! From June 22 through August 26, they participated in Friendly Find/Tracking training with Charlie Young and Pat Martin at Professional Canine Services in Middleborough.

This specialized training allows dogs to use their exceptional scent-detection abilities in a gentle, non-intimidating manner to help locate individuals with autism spectrum disorders, seniors experiencing dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, people with developmental disabilities, or anyone who may become disoriented or lost.

Morgan is specifically trained in compassionate tracking and not apprehending suspects or participating in aggressive pursuits. Her job is all about helping people and keeping our community safe.

SRO Connor and Morgan also managed to sneak away to the Plymouth County Drug & Alcohol Resistance Education Summer Program in July, where they spent some time hanging out with the kids at camp at Whitman/Hanson High School.

In August, they visited campers at the East Bridgewater YMCA, where Morgan was busy greeting everyone and handing out her latest trading cards. 🐾

Morgan has certainly had a busy year serving our community, and I’m sure SRO Connor has an extra-special birthday treat waiting for her this morning!

Happy Birthday, Morgan! šŸŽ‚šŸ¶ā¤ļø
Keep up the great work, girl!
