Doing this small event has made us aware of greater needs.

This family’s head of household needs a life changing procedure (improved hearing) that is $150
May not be much for many but for some, under certain circumstances, it is out of reach.

The beautiful person who referred this family is working on organizing a fundraiser.

Did you know that there are approximately 30 children in foster homes, out of Maverick County, and not one foster home in Eagle Pass?

These kids are taken from their parents and from their school, their community… and taken to cities like San Antonio, Houston etc

They go through so much!!

We need foster parents in Maverick County and this agency works very hard to advocate for these kiddos.

They are currently working with Maverick County Judge Ramsey English Cantú and Comissioner’s Court to organize the creation of a child welfare board for Maverick County to service the needs of these vulnerable children. This will soon be a reality! 🥹

These babies need us all as a community 🩵🩵🩵🩵
