Had a blast at the Touch A Truck event today.
Thank you to the City of Eagle Pass for the invite and for putting together a great event for the community. It was great seeing so many families come out and letting the kids check out the vehicles up close.
The Maverick County Sheriff’s Office Auto Crimes Task Force brought out our MRAP, “The Beast,” one of the vehicles used during high risk operations. The kids loved climbing inside and taking photos.
We appreciate everyone who stopped by and showed support. Great turnout and a good day with the community.

Stolen Vehicle Recovered During Operation Stone Garden

On December 10, 2025, at approximately 2:46 AM, Maverick County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, while assigned to Operation Stone Garden, located a stolen vehicle during a roadside check near the intersection of FM 1021 and Loop 480.
