Policy for the People Presents: Auto de Resistência (Police Killing) Movie Showing and Q&A

Auto de Resistência is a documentary about the Rio de Janeiro police killings practiced as so called "self-defense acts". The film follows people who deal with these deaths in their daily lives, and how the Brazilian Federal Government deals with these cases.

Following the movie, Dr. Stephanie Reist (MPP-PhD '18) and activist Rafael Motta will join us for a Q&A. Topics will include the movie, as well as racism and police brutality more broadly.
