We have over 1600 Registered Voters and 585 of them came out to Vote for 5 Candidates. I’ve learned that win some you lose some, and I just lost 1, on em.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to each of you who stood by me throughout this mayoral campaign. Your unwavering support, dedication, and belief in our vision for Durant have been truly inspiring.

While the election did not yield the outcome we had hoped for, I congratulate John Haynes on his victory and wish them success in leading our city forward.

This campaign was about more than just an election; it was about fostering dialogue, addressing the challenges we face, and building a stronger, more inclusive community. Though we fell short in votes, our commitment to these ideals remains steadfast.

I encourage all of us to stay engaged, continue advocating for positive change, and support initiatives that benefit Durant.
