Help Restore the Old Leland Farm Summer Kitchen Located in Spfld, Il, we are the Friends of the Original Leland Farmhouse. 🌿In 2022 we moved this historic structure to Washington Park.

Through generous donations, fundriasers and grants we continue to restore this little piece of Springfield history 🌱

While antiquing yesterday we came across some cool pieces from the Leland Hotel. If you zoom in on the creamer you can see the Leland Hotel logo. The other piece is a cover for an in room phone book from the 1950’s. Love finding these things 🌱

Hooray for paint! 😊 A big thank you to Dan Deweese Painting and Wood Finishing for the wonderful job they did on the windows. Their crew matched the window color to the door trim (done last year) and it looks fabulous!!
Thanks also to all who donate through our go fund me and to Bill at FastScore Productions & Race Timing for organizing our yearly 5K Trail Trek. Without you we couldn’t continue our “slow but steady” restoration.
