The Township’s contractor will be continuing work on Bell Tavern Blvd. on Thursday, September 10th. There will not be access to Madison Way from Bell Tavern most of the day, Madison way will need to be accessed from Lincoln drive.

We are aware of a Bee nest at East Caln Township Park at Bell Tavern in a tree near the picnic table row along the parking lot. Our exterminator has been notified and will be removing the nest in the next 24 hours. Please use caution in the area.

At an intersection with a stop sign, you must STOP completely.

In 2025, there were nearly 3,000 crashes involving a driver who ran a stop sign, resulting in 20 fatalities and 2,311 injuries.

Rolling stops are not legal, or safe. Stop completely, check for pedestrians and cross traffic, and proceed when it is safe.

The Township’s contractor will be performing stormwater infrastructure work within the roadway of Bell Tavern Boulevard beginning Tuesday, September 8th and Wednesday, September 9th as well as Monday, September 21 and continue through Wednesday, October 7th (weather pending).

During the project:
One lane will remain open at all times, and flaggers will be directing traffic through the work zone.
Residents are asked to use caution when traveling through the area and allow extra time for delays.
Access from Madison way, Lincoln Drive and Kennedy Drive to Bell Tavern Boulevard may be temporarily blocked during portions of the work, but only one at a time.

An important notice from Williams Gas Pipeline regarding Maintenance activity in East Caln Township in September:

Beginning on or about September 10th, 2026 and continuing through the month of September, Williams employees and/or our contractors will be performing asset integrity investigations in your neighborhood, within our Right-of-Way. This work will not impact your property, however, we want to make you aware of the scheduled activity due to your proximity to the work locations. You will likely see construction equipment and personnel in the neighborhood during the scheduled dates. At Williams, we are committed to the safe operation of our pipeline and strive to be a good neighbor. This is routine maintenance work that will ensure the continued safe operation of our pipeline for many years to come.
