US worse maternity rates in wealthy world, even for pregnant whites.

Medicaid work requirements will not reduce rare abuse, it will red tape qualified families to death proving and reproving their eligibility.

For many Pennsylvanians, healthcare isn’t just about surviving—it’s about surviving financially. As deductibles climb, premiums spike, and medical debt piles up, families across the commonwealth are being forced to make impossible choices: delay care or risk financial ruin.

Abortion rates have gone up post Dobbs with people traveling across state lines in the first trimester because high risk pregnancies have a worse prognosis - more likely to die in labor and less likely to get a timely emergency abortion in pro-life states where women have to risk death by sepsis to protect doctors from accusation of performinv a late term abortion of an active nonviable pregnancy.
