Do you want to see what it takes to be a first responder ?! Come check out our 6th annual “A Day in Their Boots” at the Delaware State Fire School on Wednesday July 29th from 08:30 to 2:30 ! This event is for ages 5-18 (keep in mind ages 5-10 need to be accompanied by a parent at all times)

Come out for a jam packed day to include breakfast and lunch along with a special treat on the way out ! There will be a MAX of 200 people to attend this event and it is a first come first serve event! This event will be available to register soon ! The Dover Police Department Community Policing Unit had a blast at the bike rodeo today! The kids were taught rules of the road and safety while riding a bicycle! 🚴🚲🚓

Officer Frye, Officer Ragona and Officer Lafleur maayyyy have had a bit to much fun with their bikes 😂

Thank you Dover Air Force Base for the invite!

Register your child for bike safety and learning the rules of the road with our Dover Police Community Policing Unit and Dover Parks and Recs! Event is FREE and Friday June 26th from 3-5 at Schutte Park (10 Electric Avenue, Dover, DE)

Now that Easter has passed, it’s acceptable to post about Halloween right ?! 🎃👻

If your business is interested in handing out candy and being a vendor this year at our 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat Bash, click the link below and fill out your information in the form! This is a FREE event to register for, all you have to do is provide candy for your business ! Once you register, more information will be provided via email!

This event was a great and safe way for the community to engage with one another and better yet, the children had a blast!

Reminder, Friday May 1st registration for the Youth Academy opens! Registration has the possibility to close after the weekend if a high volume of applications are received, so please plan accordingly to register by this weekend!

The Youth Academy will be held at the Dover Police Department from 7:30am to 3:30pm Monday July 13th through Friday July 17th! Dates and times are firm as your child has to attend every day of the camp on time in order to graduate! This is a FREE camp and registration is FREE as well!

***PLEASE NOTE, just because you register your child, it does not mean they will be selected for the camp*** you will receive an email within the next two weeks if your child has been selected or if they have not been selected!
