Throughout his career, Deputy Soneberg made a lasting impact on the department and the residents of Waukesha County through his commitment, professionalism, and service.

KM is NOT one of these districts. Our staffing levels - including ALL staff, not just teachers is almost double what other districts are doing. Our Admin costs are lower than everyone in the county.

School districts are not built for employment reasons. Our job is to educate. Bureaucracy doesn't educate.

I just vetoed a bill that would have required opting Wisconsin into a nationwide expansion of private voucher schools under President Donald Trump’s and Republicans’ ‘Big Beautiful Bill, which is expected to divert billions of dollars from public schools and public education.
