Joel, Chris, and Brad give an update on the relief efforts in North Carolina after the hurricane and tornados devastated the area.

On Wednesday, 10/23, I had the opportunity to ride along with Steve, an electrician from Georgia. We visited Chris at his auto repair shop. He shared with us the devastation from the local community in his area. Even 3-4 weeks later, sometimes the normal-looking just collapses under cars as they drive over.

The waterline on the walls was higher than the outlets that were placed 4 feet off the floor in order to be safe in case of flooding. Before we were called in to help, he had already had some volunteers come help in removing 6-8 inches of mud that was throughout his building. We were able to check the electrical system at his shop and aid in getting him back to work so he could assist people in repairing their cars.
