Construction will begin next week in the park! The park will remain open, but some portions of the trail will be blocked off temporarily while they're being resurfaced. Go to www.sidewalkdetroit.com for more details about their park improvements.
After YEARS of planning and months of preparation, we're excited to announce that construction of Phase II Eliza Howell Park improvements will begin NEXT WEEK!
Look out for:
-path improvements
-no-mow signs around protected habitats
-expanded vernal pond habitat & boardwalk
-a brand new rain garden with native plants
The park will remain open during construction, but parts of the loop path will be blocked temporarily while it's being resurfaced.
