The Iowa Governor's STEM Advisory Council met yesterday!

Members had the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the Council’s flagship programs like STEM Scale-Up, STEM BEST and the Iowa STEM Teacher Externships Program along with efforts to honor and recognize Iowa educators through the Iowa STEM Teacher Award and partners with the Council’s Seal of Approval.

Co-Chair and Lieutenant Governor Chris Cournoyer welcomed the group to begin the day. Council members representing both public and private sectors had several opportunities to share in discussions with each other and Iowa STEM staff about further opportunities and the future of STEM in Iowa.
