Denmark Community Summer Reading Program

09/04/2026

We want to send a huge shout-out to a few more incredible local businesses that helped make this entire summer reading program possible! Without their generous financial support, none of this—from the books to the grand prizes to today’s slime—would have been achievable.

Summer vacation may be officially over, but the fun isn’t stopping just yet! Today, we’re wrapping up the 2026 Denmark Community Summer Reading Program with a huge—and messy—celebration: SLIME TIME!

We are so proud of our incredible, dedicated readers who completed and turned in their reading logs for all three events in June, July, and August. To show our appreciation for their hard work, these superstar kiddos earned the ultimate reward: they get to slime a teacher!

We’ll also be drawing the lucky winners for our grand prizes today!

Stay tuned—pictures of the slimy celebration are coming soon! 📸✨
