Denison Dia De Los Muertos

Denison Dia De Los Muertos An annual event celebrating the Hispanic cultural event combined with a tour of some of the art galleries, exhibits, and demonstrations in the area.

Denison Arts Council welcomes you to the artistic side of Denison, Texas! For years, Denison has been home to artists of all persuasions - visual, performing, musical, literary, and culinary just to name a few. The Denison Arts Council has been working to support the local arts community for nearly 30 years by providing opportunities for artists, events featuring the arts, and financial support to

bring in performers from around the globe. With a history as exceptional as the art, Denison offers stories of trains, grapes, wine, hidden treasure, Dwight D. Eisenhower, and more to visitors and residents alike. Come see why Denison has captured the hearts of so many with its small-town charm, unexpected cultural abundance, and diverse geographical resources. Our mission “To promote, encourage and otherwise develop cultural activities in order to serve the needs of all citizens through participation, exposure, and educational opportunities” continues as Denison’s cultural history unfolds. The newly recognized downtown Denison Arts and Cultural District designated by the Texas Commission on the Arts is the latest chapter. Join us in celebrating the arts, the culture, and all of the things that make Denison one of the best destinations in north Texas. It’s our home, and it can be your’s too- even if just for the weekend!
