Last night celebrated our spring accomplishments - cleanup, sprucing up the Alboretum, planting our Trees of Honor, Arbor Day, opening the Alboretum, inventorying the trees in our parks, planting the Class of 2038’s kindergarten grove, and attending the Sustainability Summit. We discussed ideas for summer programming and decided to hold a kid’s nature craft event, music at the lake, a create a green challenge, and morning stroll at the Alboretum. Once we finalize our plans, we’ll post the details. Stay tune.

The Burlington County Green Teams Repair Cafe is tomorrow Sunday May17 from 1-4pm. This year’s event is hosted by the Medford Green Team. The Repair Cafe will be held at the Medford Town Hall.

Don't fall for the throw-away culture of today. Bring your broken items to be repaired and learn (or re-learn) the habit of responsible maintenance.

We have to consider our first plant swap a success. Alex and Monica labeled the plants. People brought plants and met new people in our community. They exchanged grow tips as well as plants.

Thank you all that came out to make a rain barrel. This is a great way to conserve water as our part of NJ is considered extremely dry. Be sure to contact us if you have problems getting the rain barrel set up.
