If you have a hydrant in front of your home and are able to shovel around it. We would greatly appreciate it.

Help fire fighters by help you by taking a few extra moments to clear snow around fire hydrants. When seconds matter, having clear access to fire hydrants improves the safety of lives and property.

UPDATE: As of 5:15 AM Monday, January 26, Delaware County REMAINS under a Level 3 Snow/Ice Emergency.

As of Sunday, January 25th at 6:22 PM, Sheriff Balzer has issued a Level 3 snow/ice emergency for Delaware County, due to deteriorating road conditions, making it increasingly challenging for road crews to effectively keep the roads clear.

All roadways are closed to non-emergency personnel. No one should be out during these conditions unless it is absolutely necessary to travel. Employees should contact their employers to see if they should report to work. Those traveling on the roadways may be subject to arrest.

3 unit crews responded with 5 personnel in Engine 393 and Tanker 392 and provided mutual aid assistance to Harlem Township.
This was not the outcome anyone wanted but do to fire conditions and the homes condition. The outcome was tragic. Our prays go to the family at this time of their loss.

🎅🏻🎄🎁 Tomorrow’s the day! We know the weather won’t be the greatest, but you won’t even have to get out of your car!

Today the 3 fire departments kick off their toy drive thru with People In Need, Inc. We will be collecting toys and clothing all month, but we will have our toy drive thru next Saturday the 13th from 10am till 3pm. We hope to see you here!
