We all deserve better. And I’m so over the institutions acting as though that’s too much to ask.

We deserve healthcare that doesn’t bankrupt us.
Schools that are fully funded.
Jobs that pay a living wage.
Housing we can actually afford.
Infrastructure that works.
Childcare that doesn’t eat an entire paycheck.
And we deserve a government that puts people before profits and working families before corporate interests.

For too long, the people who work the hardest have been asked to settle for less while the people at the top keep accumulating more money and power.

I don’t accept that.

From Rome to Utica, from Oneida County to Madison County and beyond, I’m running to build a New York where prosperity isn’t reserved for the wealthy and well-connected. I envision a New York where every community has the resources to thrive and every person has a real shot at a dignified life.

Because this isn’t about asking for too much.
It’s about finally demanding what we’ve always deserved.
It is because We all deserve better. And together, we’re going to fight for a more equitable and compassionate New York. ✊💙

This week our assemblywoman announced she will not be seeking another term. Candidates stepping forward this week to run include Democratic Councilman from South Utica Joe Betar and Republican Dan Fusco of Deerfield.
