2026 Deep River Day Recap!
Run to the River 5K -
We had a beautiful morning to kick off the Deep River Day events with our Run to the River 5K! We had 151 participants! For the full race results, please visit www.empiretiming.com

Deep River Day – Community Corner -
We are thrilled to announce we had over 30 clubs, organizations and businesses that participated in Deep River Day this year! Thank you to all of them for sharing information, and having some awesome activities for our community members to participate in – from free face painting and hair tinsel to bake sales and lemonade stands, we had a little bit of everything!
We had over 25 participants in our Pet Parade as well!! It was so exciting to see all of the pets and their owners!!!
Deep River Day – Fireworks -
The Grand Finale of Deep River Day was our Annual Fireworks Show! Our community had a fantastic time listening to the great music of DJ Mike who was with us all day from the start at the 5K to the finish with the Fireworks! We enjoyed pizza from Apizza Grande, cold lemonade from Guilford Lemonade Stand and sweet treats from Deep River Ice!
