As the county primaries have concluded, I am eager to take the next step and win the general election in August. I would appreciate your support and vote.

If you reside in District 6 and would like a yard sign, please let me know.

My campaign beliefs include preserving rural land, low property taxes and not raising property taxes, ensuring accountability in the county budget management, supporting a strong EMS department including police, firefighters, and ambulance service, collaborating with the school board to improve our education system, and working with road commissioners to keep our county's roads the best.

As a strong advocate for agriculture and agricultural education, I believe maintaining farm land is vital to our community's prosperity and the prosperity of this country. To give an example; Farming, forestry, fishing, and hunting contribute roughly $222 billion to the United States GDP. In Franklin County alone, direct agricultural production accounts for about 8% of the county's total Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Without open land this isn’t possible.

Additionally, I strongly support utilizing the Southern Middle Tennessee Pavilion on Joyce Lane to host more events and stimulate community engagement and to see that proper budget funds are allocated to maintain maintenance of the building and property.

If elected, I will work diligently with fellow commissioners to make Franklin County an ideal place to live, raise a family, and build a future to keep our youth here to invite better higher paying jobs to come here. I will listen to and represent the interests of my constituents, ensuring every voice is heard. With 10 years of public service experience, including roles in customer service, entrepreneurship, and animal health, and a farming background myself, I am well-equipped to serve as your commissioner. I am a devoted Christian, preacher, and worship leader at my church , and the main phrase 'In God We Trust' that our country is built on resonates deeply with me.

Today is the local primary election for republican and democratic candidates in the local county election. Independents will be in the general election in august.
If you have not yet voted today please get out and go vote in the primary! I am an independent candidate in my campaign for county commissioner so I will be on the august ballot. Please get out and vote !

Had a great time tonight at the Regan dinner event at twin creeks honeysuckle pavilion was wonderful to meet and greet with so many of the wonderful citizens of Franklin county! Was also wonderful to make so many great connections with our current and future leaders of our state and federal government!

Hello Franklin County residents!
I am humbly seeking your vote for District 6 seat B county commissioner in the august election!
I am Austin Burgin, a dedicated public servant and lifelong resident of this great county. With a strong educational background in Agriculture Business and a bachelor degree from MTSU, I am well-prepared to serve as the District 6 Seat B County Commissioner.

Throughout my life, I have demonstrated my commitment to this community through my involvement in the FC FFA chapter and FC Fair board and numerous other commitments. If elected As your commissioner, I want to listen to your concerns, respond promptly, and vote according to not only the district's needs but the county as a whole. To be the your voice for the community!

My platform focuses on supporting agriculture, managing tax dollars effectively, and promoting collaborative governance. As our county grows I believe in reevaluating our zoning laws to balance growth. We have a strong agricultural heritage here. I also want to help attract better-paying jobs and industry to retain our youth from moving away.

If elected I want to, promote more agricultural education in our schools, and support programs like FFA and 4-H, and to revaluate our county EMS system to ensure emergencies are assisted properly and punctually.

By working together, we can ensure Franklin County remains a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family.
