Today, our offices will be closed as we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 🇺🇸

Their courage, service, and dedication will never be forgotten. From all of us at Addy’s Hope Social Services, thank you to our fallen heroes and the families who carry their legacy forward.

Today we welcome another new young man to Future Hope!

This marks a new chapter for us and him! After over a year of having our apartments open, we yet to fill 14 with young men who have aged out of foster care. However, we have had phone calls about other young men who needed housing.

Therefore we have opened up a few apartments to non-contracted placements based on specific criteria for homeless youth. This means we are housing these young men with no financial support except what is provided from donations from people like you!

We do not believe God called us to build apartments to sit empty when we continue to receive phone calls for young men who need housing and the support we offer through our program!

So today we said yes! And that yes means he has a safe place to call home, people who believe in him, and a chance to rebuild his future.

At Future Hope, we believe every person deserves hope, dignity, and support — especially when they have nowhere else to turn.

As we help him get settled, we are asking our community to come alongside us:

💜$40 covers his monthly cell phone bill so he can stay connected to work opportunities, appointments, and support.

💜 $175 provides his 2-week personal stipend for essentials and daily needs.

💜 $2,000 covers his full monthly living costs including housing, utilities, activities and support services.

Huge thanks to Decatur High School Tennis for sharing their food with our young men! They appreciated not having to cook tonight! We are always grateful for those in our community who partner with us to love on our young men! 💜

Celebrate with us as yesterday was a big day here at Future Hope! We welcomed another young man to Hope Crossing and one of our current young men started his new job learning to weld!

We are grateful for community partners like Blue Light Legacy Welding and Fabrication who not only employ our young men, but pour into them to build leaders for tomorrow!

Our new young man is looking for a job working on a ranch, and he does have experience! A spanish speaking environment would be a plus!

The Easter Bunny made a stop at Future Hope this morning to visit our young men! It’s important to us that they always know they are valued as individuals, and we try to provide the experiences here with us that they would have if they were in our families! Today that meant an early morning Easter basket run! 🐰✝️

By age 26, 40% of youth who age out of foster care without permanency have experienced homelessness, often due to deficits in independent living skills such as maintaining consistent transportation, which impacts their ability to secure employment, education, and stable relationships.
