I am a Professional Engineer, licensed in the state of Texas and 10 other states. I started my own structural engineering firm in 2004. As a small business owner, I am very familiar with budgets, proposals, contracts and financials. As

an engineer, I listen, research, and discuss the problem before making decisions. As your City Council Representative, I would use my experience and these same skills to make sound decisions regarding DeSoto City business.

I wanted to let you know about the "week of meetings" that are happening starting tomorrow.

DeSoto City Council meeting will be tomorrow, Tuesday, June 18th, with the work session starting at 6pm. Here is the agenda.. http://www.ci.desoto.tx.us/DocumentCenter/View/6043

Special Meeting to install the newest DeSoto City Council Member Place 5, "Congrats to Dick North!" on Thursday, June 20th at 6:30pm. Here is the agenda.. http://www.ci.desoto.tx.us/DocumentCenter/View/6055

The DeSoto City Council is having their summer retreat in Granbury, TX starting on Friday, June 21st at 8 am and ending on Saturday, June 22nd. This is an open meeting so feel free to attend if possible.
