Yesterday, for the 20th year in a row, the Dayton Air Show opened its gates early for our Wish Kids and their families to enjoy a preview day.

And what an afternoon it was. The sky was full of incredible aircraft, the energy was electric, and after their performance, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels came down to meet with families personally.

Twenty years of this tradition says everything about the kind of community we are lucky to be a part of. We are so grateful to everyone who helped make yesterday possible.

Thank you to the Dayton Air Show for 20 years of opening your gates to our families, to the Charles D Berry Foundation for helping us fund the afternoon, to Greater Dayton RTA for making sure everyone could get there, to Raising Cane's for keeping everyone fueled, and to Sweet P's Ice Pops for the perfect sweet treat on a warm afternoon. ✨

Tomorrow is a special day for our Wish Families! ✨

For the 20th year, the CenterPoint Energy Dayton Air Show is opening their doors early to give our Wish Families a Preview Day experience. It is only fitting that in the Birthplace of Aviation, one of the region's most beloved events makes space for the area children who need it most. This year's show is headlined by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and we know our Wish Kids are in for something truly special.

Based in Buffalo, NY, they have done an amazing job of honoring the Dave Matthews Band, capturing the heartfelt essence of DMB’s musical spirit since 2004. Also, be sure to catch Nicholas Clay as he kicks off the evening at 7 p.m.

Today we're introducing Club Courage. ❤

For 43 years, our community has stood with Southwest Ohio kids and families facing serious illness. You've helped us grant nearly 2,000 wishes for local children. Every one of them happened because neighbors showed up.

Club Courage is a new way to keep showing up. It's a monthly giving community built for people who want to stand with these families for the whole journey, not just on wish day.

The kids we serve are brave long before they ever meet us, and long after their wish ends. Club Courage is named for them. It's how we honor what these families carry every single day. ✨
