Hello fellow Elves!
It’s now official that Vicki Zoller sold her house and will be moving away from our community. As many of you know she is a big asset to Columbia County. She has given so much to the community. I am trying to raise donations to get her gift cards for Walla Walla as a way for us to say thank you for everything she has done.
Here is a story that relates to Elfin Magic. When I first came up with the idea it didn’t seem like it was something the community wanted to participate in. I was giving up hope on the idea of Elfin Magic. I messaged Vicki and told her I was going to shut it down. She immediately jumped in with words of encouragement. She explained that the community just needed a little time to learn about Elfin Magic and what I hoped to achieve. And within a couple days we started getting our first donations. She really got into the Elf project in a quiet way. Started raising donations for families that needed help during the holidays and some cheer. She filled up two vehicles for one family with donations! The following year she again encouraged us elves to get out there and spread kindness and joy. When I wonder if we are making a difference she stops what she is doing and encourages the process.
Here is our chance as a community to tell her thank you. I am hoping we can give her a big send off full of fun useful gift cards so that she knows how much she means to this community. So fellow elves what do you say? Will you help us achieve this goal?
