Who we are: It is the mission of the Twin Towers Neighborhood Association to help oversee the safety, welfare and environmental health of the community.
In this weeks' update the neighborhood association would like to remind you that bulk waste must be call before being placed out for pickup. Waste collection does not take bulk waste with the regular weekly pickup.
Bulk waste is picked up every two weeks and can be scheduled by calling 333-4800.
Community update.: this past Saturday volunteers and STOP worked on two projects. Project one: 405 project volunteers worked on the inside cleanup as the community continues to move forward in reopening the former convenient plus into a business that will enhance the community.
The second project was we STOP as the neighborhood association continues its mission to reduce blight in the community. With the help of neighborhood volunteers and STOP six unsightly properties were mowed , a large amount of bulk waste was prepped for the City to pickup removing close to 3000 pounds of bulk waste. In addition volunteers worked to cleanup the 400 to 600 block of Xenia ave ahead of August 10th Twin Towers Party in the Street.
Last as a quick reminder dont forget to join us August 10th for a day full of fun, games and other activities ending the day with a freeze challenge on xenia ave.

Good day to all of our residents living in Twin Towers. As a reminder we are counting down to our August 10th event- Twin Towers Party in the street. We are very excited about the lineup of vendors that will be there. Ti share a few new additions the Bat Mobile will be joining us along with the Ohio Disaster Mobile Communications Unit. Youth and Audults will be able to talk with people from other countries as you see how CB communications works. We reminder everyone that this event is open to all Twin Towers residents and neighbors living in the area surrounding Twin Towers. While this event is free except for the craft vendors we ask people bring non-perishable items for the tornado recovery.
We look forward in seeing everyone coming out and enjoying the day.

Come join us on August 10th from 1030am to 3pm for a day filled with fun for all. There will be 5 bouncy houses, games and prizes for the youth informational and craft vendors, we will be serving a picnic style meal of fried chicken,side and a drink. Plus so much more. At 3pm we will be passing out schools supplies to all youth grades K-6th in attendance.
Help us get on the Ellen DeGeneres show by taking part in a Mannequin challenge at 2:30.
If you love in Twin Towers and you could is in need of new shoes,sock and underwear join us August 3rd at 405 xenia ave as we transform the former convenient plus market.

GET READY FOR THE BEST EVENT EVERY HELD IN TWIN TOWERS. Join us August 10th for Twin Towers Party in the Street. For animal lovers we will have a mobile vet clinic offering low cost shots (pets must be on a leash). Also we will have vendors from the Humane Society ,Sisca and the Animal Shelter. Plus for the youth we will have bouncy houses & games. Plus the will be craft vendors, police displays, informational vendors, free items, along with everyone will be served a picnic style meal of fried chicken, side item and a drink. Come be part of a fun day filled with the spirit of community.

Monday nights Block Rally was a great success. City staff from the Fire department, police department, housing, and the City Mangers office along with a surprise visit from Commissioner Shaw meet with 63 residents talking about the state of Twin Towers. Rain aside residents enjoyed ice cream with the healthy topping provided the East Ends healthily food program. Please keep your calendar for July 29th block rally at Steele St Park. Pizza and drink will be provided.

Twin Towers weekly up date. With the help of the STOP program we now have new mulch I both Little and Steele street park.
On July 27 Nee Hope Church is doing a cleanup project on Xenis Ave for more information contact Pastor Jeff. The neighborhood assn will be doing finishing touch ups on Xenia Axe July 29 from 930am til about 2pm we are still looking for volunteers if you would like to help please meet us at East End at 930am or just join us on Xenoa Ave.
We are in the process of putting together a survey about the quality of life in Twin Towers please stay tune.

Here is what's happening. This month the neighborhood association will be hosting two Block Rallies. The first one will be on July 15th at Twin Towers Place located at 250 Allen st. Some of our invited guest from the City will include City staff from housing,zoning and the police department. The rally is from 6pm to 8pm and will include a ice cream social with healthy toppings from east end food fare. The next rally will be on July 29th at 405 Xenia ave and will include members from the police department, housing and a meet and greet with Mayor Nan. The event is from 6pm to 8pm. Come hear about what future plans are in the works for the former market. We also will be serving ice cream. Yum Yum. These events are open to all twin towers residents.
