Tonight’s results were not what we hoped for, but I want to sincerely thank the people of Dayton for the opportunity to serve as your Mayor.

Over the past several years, this administration worked hard to move our city forward — investing in roads and infrastructure, improving transparency, strengthening city operations, and laying groundwork for Dayton’s future growth. I’m proud of the work we accomplished together.

To everyone who supported, encouraged, prayed for, volunteered, and stood beside me throughout this journey: thank you. Your belief in me and in our vision for Dayton meant more than words can express.

While this chapter closes, my commitment to this community does not. Dayton is home, and I will always want the very best for our city and its people.

I ask everyone to come together, support one another, and continue working toward a stronger future for Dayton.

Thank you again for the honor of serving you.
