ONE FOR THE BOOKS. 🚒🔥
From Saturday at 4:25 PM until Sunday night, our crews worked tirelessly at the County Road G fire to manage a 100-acre wooded fire. This was a massive undertaking, and we couldn't have done it alone.

A huge thank you to the 25 different entities that stepped up to help us. From the initial call to the final cleanup, the teamwork was incredible. A special shout-out to the Sunday crew —the paths you cut through the timber to mop up the scene was impressive and much appreciated. Another shout-out to our local farmers who dropped everything to bring out their tractors and discs. Those fire lines were critical in stopping the spread and protecting the surrounding ground. All of this work kept numerous homes and families safe.

Weston is lucky to have neighbors like you. Thank you for the help!

A post from Butler County Communications:

**Attention Butler County Residents:**

We are implementing a new monthly tornado siren test scheduled to take place on the first Saturday of every month. Starting this Saturday, March 7th, 2026, at 10 AM, you can expect the sirens to sound for the full three minutes. This is an important measure to ensure your safety and well-being by ensuring the sirens are functioning properly.

Please be prepared and spread the word to help keep our community informed. Thank you for your cooperation! (Please note, sirens will not be blown if the outside temperature is below 30 degrees Fahrenheit to avoid damaging the equipment).
