🚨🚨
The Platteville Dairy Days officials have refused the Grant County Right to Life’s parade entry as submitted as it was “deemed objectionable because of non-family graphic or vocal representation” for planning to have a bus featuring pictures of a 6-week old fetus, 14-week old fetus, and a baby. The officials stated the parade is “not meant as a forum for individuals or groups wishing to make political statements.” However, a Pro-LGBTQ+ organization, both political parties, candidates/elected officials, motorcycle rights advocacy group, and churches (can be seen as political) are allowed to have entries in the parade without getting floats or images pre-approved. This is clearly unfairly targeting and discriminating against Grant County Right to Life, which is a non-partisan, non-denominational organization. We urge the Dairy Days Officials/Committee to reverse their decision to prevent the Grant County Right to Life to have their original entry without having to cover up images of pre-born humans.
