It's only 10 days before Summer Reading begins!

This is my favorite library project! We read, Meesha Makes Friends by Tom Percival, the students design a “friend” on Google Draw, and then they turn their digital project into a real, squish-able, friend. They are adorable!

This looks fun! Behind the scenes of Shrek the Musical. Then, don’t forget to buy tickets to see the show later this week.

Learn more about theater in our community and about T Hill Community Theatre's upcoming production of "Shrek the Musical" at our outreach event Monday, July 7 at 10 a.m. at the theater.

We'll read the "Shrek!" picture book and other stories and have a related craft, and West T. Hill Managing Director Beth Marlowe will lead a series of theater activities that will allow attendees to be on a real stage. This is a great opportunity for anybody interested in acting, directing, set design, lighting, or costume design to see how you can get involved. You may even get to meet a familiar character or two from "Shrek the Musical."

Be sure to visit our display of books that will be available for checkout and to board the bookmobile to see even more books you can borrow. Join us at West T. Hill Community Theatre, 117 Larrimore Lane, Danville.

The 5th grade food truck design project has become a tradition in Library Media. Students created a food truck business complete with a menu, theme, slogan, marketing ideas, and truck design.
