And I couldn’t be prouder that it comes from the brave men and women of Danbury Professional Fire Fighters, Local 801, IAFF.

These firefighters put their lives on the line every single day to protect our families, our homes, and our city, and I’ll never stop fighting for them in Hartford. From backing the Firefighter Cancer Relief Fund, to protecting workers’ rights, to making sure first responders have the support and resources they deserve, I’ve always stood shoulder to shoulder with our firefighters.

To receive the endorsement of IAFF Local 801 means a great deal to me because they know I’ll continue showing up, speaking up, and delivering for them and their families.

Danbury firefighters never back down when our community needs them most, and neither will I. I’ll continue fighting for safer working conditions, better protections, stronger benefits, and the respect our firefighters have earned through their service and sacrifice. Proud to have Local 801 in my corner as we continue delivering real results for Danbury and for working families across Connecticut.

City of Danbury clean day St. Gregory the Great Parish, Danbury in the third ward was attended well and although the cars stretched down Hawley Rd to Jackson Dr. we got everyone through very expeditiously. Thank you to all who helped fill about 10 dumpsters.

Got to chair the first budget ad hoc meeting for the 2026-2027 Budget. Public safety, health and human services had 16 departments come to us tonight. All part of the process to get to a final budget vote in May to stay on track with the Charter Rules.
