March 29th, 2026
The Danbury Police Cadets held their Annual Awards Dinner, where cadets are recognized for their various achievements. We're extremely proud of every single cadet in the program. We would also like to thank our now former Chief, Sadat Hoo, who joined in 2018. Throughout the years, he has made a name for himself and will be remembered as one of our most dedicated cadets. As we look ahead, let’s make 2026 an even better year—by working together, we know every cadet will succeed!

Starting off 2026 with our open house to recruit new cadets can’t wait to see what the new B.E.S.T class of 2026 has for us !

Over 30 cadets applied.
4 graduated.

FTOC 2025 set the standard through a rigorous 12-week program where candidates were evaluated on physical fitness, academic knowledge of the Danbury Police Cadet Manual, uniform inspections down to the smallest detail, drill, and professional presentation skills.

Candidates were also assessed on professional development, including resume building, cover letter writing, essay preparation, and oral board interviews. Equipping them for leadership roles within and beyond the Training Division.

Most importantly, the program emphasized teamwork and leadership. Early Sunday mornings, long nights, and demanding assignments required candidates to collaborate, communicate, and support one another. Proving they are truly the Best of the Best.

Now, FTOC 2025 is ready to prepare the upcoming BEST Class of 2026, training the next generation of Danbury Police Cadets.

Standards matter. Earn your place in the upcoming FTOC 2026 Recruitment.

On September 5th-7th, the Danbury Police Cadets were out early setting up the camp area and preparing for a busy few days at the Bethlehem Fair! From Friday through Sunday, our cadets worked long hours, from 0800 to 2000, assisting with parking detail and traffic control.

Their hard work and teamwork helped ensure the event ran safely and smoothly for everyone attending throughout the entire weekend!
