411th is back!

After a few months away, the battalion held battle training assembly this weekend to catch up on administrative tasks, dive into civil affairs training, and prepare for upcoming missions.

In addition to good physical training, the battalion hosted change of command ceremonies for B Co and C Co. Welcome to Majors Martin and O'Neill, and huge thanks to our outgoing commanders, Majors Delehanty and Johnson.

See you in December!

For the past 30 days, A Co. from the 411th Civil Affairs Battalion has participated in Joint Readiness Training Center rotation 25-10 at Fort Polk, Louisiana.

In conjunction with 2nd Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, and partner forces from the United Arab Emirates, A Co. brought civil affairs expertise and tactical excellence in support of the rotation, integrating from the brigade staff to the team level.

In the heat and humidity, through bites, strings, and rashes, A Co. demonstrated outstanding resilience and civil affairs excellence.

At the conclusion of exercises, SSG Prado was recognized as one of the Rotation's Hero of Battle by the Deputy Commander of the 10th Mountain Division. While her team leader concluded CAQC, SSG Prado stepped up and performed well beyond her grade, supporting the UAE battalion during the early phases of the operation.

Congratulations to SSG Prado and all of A Co. for a rotation well-executed, and for ably representing the 411th and the CA Regiment!
