This past weekend Tangol Migrante as well as Bayan Norcal organizations were able to participate in the first annual ! We would like to thank for inviting us to table & share about the ongoing issues of health & safety for caregivers. At boogiedown we were able to outreach to the public about Kuya Rodel a caregiver who passed away on the job & fundraise for the repatriation of his body.

Prior to the approval of Kuya Rodels body being repatriated, the PH consulate denied his documents for identification to prove that he’s a Filipino citizen. As a result of this past weekend outreach and fundraising efforts, Kuya Rodel body will now be repatriated home! We celebrate the people victory and continue to demand for PH consulate to not discriminate against undocumented migrants & release Assistant to National Funds.

Malaya Daly City calls for the release of Chantal Anicoche a filipino american activist who integrated with the Iraya-Mindoro people. She is currently in custody by the Armed Forces of the Philippines for substantial legal reason. We call on the international community to participate in posting public statements & signing petition in demanding for her release.

Join Malaya Daly City for our first event at Excelsior Martial Arts Academy ! 🎥🍿👊🏼

We are screening LIWANAG (Light), a documentary made by SIKLAB and Filipino Migrant Center that highlights the stories of Filipina frontline workers in Los Angeles during the COVID-19 pandemic. 🇵🇭🇵🇭

After the screening, we will host a paint session to make signs for upcoming actions happening in San Francisco for International Human Rights Day (Dec 10) and International Migrants Day (Dec 18). Join us for either or both events!
