The The United States Department of Justice has taken action against two foreign nationals charged with deploying REvil ransomware to attack businesses and government entities in the United States.

Acting U.S. Attorney Chad Meacham joined Attorney General Merrick Garland, Deputy AG Lisa Monaco, FBI Director Chris Wray, Crim Assistant AG Kenneth Polite, and FBI Dallas SAC Matt DeSarno in DC for the announcement.
