Supporting our local childcare providers! On Tuesday, April 7, of National Community Development Week 2026, the City of Dallas hosted an impactful workshop at the Dallas Public Library J. Erik Jonsson Central Library. This was a wonderful collaborative effort with Dallas County Judge Clay Lewis and ChildCareGroup to help providers navigate the property tax exemption process. By helping these essential small businesses reduce operational costs, we are directly investing in the economic mobility and long-term stability of Dallas families.
