Jewish Family Service, Dallas JFS Dallas provides comprehensive health services and community resources to promote well-being and self-sufficiency.

We address physical, emotional, nutritional, and financial health needs, regardless of religion or ability to pay. Jewish Family Service offers a variety of specialized, professional services to all ages, including emergency assistance/food pantry, counseling, family violence intervention, employment services, services for persons with special needs and older adult services.

It’s National Toilet Paper Day! 🧻

It may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of a food pantry, but toilet paper is one of the most requested items at the JFS Dallas Food Pantry and one of the hardest to keep on our shelves.

SNAP benefits don’t cover household essentials like toilet paper, so donations from our community help ensure individuals and families can leave the Food Pantry with both food and the everyday essentials they need.

Thank you, H-E-B, for investing in our community through your Hunger Relief Program!

Because of partners like H-E-B, the JFS Dallas Food Pantry can continue providing nutritious food to individuals and families who need it most. This year, we've served approximately 10,000 individuals and distributed more than 1.15 million pounds of food, helping make healthy meals more accessible across North Texas.

Thank you to the students from SMU Dedman School of Law who volunteered their time in the JFS Dallas Food Pantry yesterday! Throughout their shift, students helped with check-in, restocked shelves, and assisted individuals and families as they selected nutritious food and other essential items.

Volunteer groups play an important role in helping us keep the Food Pantry running and ready to serve thousands of individuals and families throughout the year. We’re grateful to the SMU Law students for giving their time, working alongside our team, and helping us serve our community.
