AUSA North Texas - Audie Murphy Chapter Supporting soldiers and their families in North Texas

AUSA is a non-profit professional association representing America's Army on Capitol Hill and in local communities. Since 1950, AUSA North Texas - Audie Murphy Chapter has continuously supported North Texas' soldiers, veterans, and their families throughout the geographic area of Mineral Wells in the west, The Red River in the North, Texarkana in the east and Waco to the south. The Chapter raises

funds and awareness in support of wounded warriors, PTSD and TBI treatment to assist soldiers and veterans in finding employment in the civilian sector and raise the leadership quotient for individuals and organizations ranging from ROTC programs to public and civic entities. AUSA North Texas - Audie Murphy Chapter maintains close associations with sister service associations in North Texas as well as active, reserve and National Guard organizations in the area.

This weekend, I happened to be in Washington DC. I had a task to find a group of 3 men who were on the Korean War Memorial.
I found the photo and had it verified by CSM Bill Bill Jimenez. He was 18 years old and coming off the line. Was interviewed about the shortage of ammo.

Famed Audie Murphy actor Duffy Hudson gave his portrayal of the Medal of Honor recipient Audie Murphy.

We hosted a birthday cake cutting ceremony at both Dallas and Ft Worth city halls. COL JP Hogan hosted the Dallas event and COL Jeff Gault hosted the Ft Worth ceremony.
