They say it takes a village, and the Lewisville Education Foundation is blessed with an incredible one.

To every volunteer who has given your time, talents, and heart, we thank you. Whether you've spent hours reading scholarship applications, carefully reviewing teacher grant submissions, helping make our golf tournament a success, working behind the scenes at our Gala, or stepping up wherever there was a need, your dedication does not go unnoticed.

Because of you, we're able to invest in our students, support our educators, and strengthen opportunities across Lewisville ISD. Every hour you give and every task you take on helps make a lasting impact.

Local elections TRULY MATTER — they impact our everyday lives in ways we sometimes don’t even realize.

Our school board races are especially important to me because the decisions made at this level directly affect our students, our teachers, and the direction of our district. These aren’t just names on a ballot — they are people who will help shape the future of our schools. That’s why being informed is so important.

If you’re eligible to vote (see map below for Place 5), I encourage you to take a little time to learn about the candidates. One of the best opportunities to do that is by attending the upcoming candidate forum — the only chance to hear directly from each school board candidate as they answer questions and share their perspectives.

Thank you to the Lewisville ISD Council of PTAs for hosting this and for their commitment to keeping our community informed.

👏🎤 Bravo to the Wellington Elementary GT Students! 🎤👏

Today, the students took the stage and impressed us all with their incredible TED Talks. From thoughtful research to confident delivery, these students demonstrated skills that will serve them far beyond the classroom.

Researching a topic, organizing ideas, and speaking in front of an audience takes courage, preparation, and critical thinking. These are skills that build strong communicators, leaders, and lifelong learners. Seeing these students share their voices with confidence and purpose was truly inspiring.

Congratulations to our students for their hard work and dedication, and thank you to the educators who continue to empower students to think deeply, speak boldly, and believe in themselves. Their futures are bright, and today was just the beginning! 🌟
