⚠️ Citywide Clean-Out has changed for 2026, and it’s important that all residents understand the new process before participating. This year, residents must pick up a City-issued voucher from City Hall between April 27 and May 8, then take items directly to Front Range Landfill at a time that works for them during the month of May. There are also important details about load limits, voucher usage, and participation requirements. For complete information, visit daconoco.gov/925/Citywide-Clean-Out-Month

*Due to recent changes at the landfill, safety vests must be purchased and worn while visiting the landfill. They are available at the gate for a $6.00 fee*

Congratulations 👏

Last evening, the Dacono City Council awarded seven scholarships to graduating seniors in the Class of 2026 who live in Dacono. The City offers this annual program to support students pursuing college or vocational training. Students may attend any high school, provided they reside in Dacono. Awards have historically ranged from $500 to $5,000, depending on the number of qualified applicants and available funding.

The scholarship application cycle for the Class of 2027 will open in February.

I just wrapped up the Advanced Colorado Academy program. It’s been such an awesome experience—lots of learning, growing, and meeting amazing people from across Colorado.

I’m super thankful for the opportunity and excited to use what I’ve learned to give back and serve my community. 💪
