It was great to be able to connect with seniors at The Forum at Rancho San Antonio to discuss local and state issues they’re concerned about. As the new Chair of the California State Assembly’s Aging & Long-Term Care Committee, I am visiting seniors throughout California and the Silicon Valley to listen, learn, and bring more legislative attention to the issues impacting elderly Californians.

It was a great honor to present a California State Assembly Resolution to City of Santa Clara Mayor Lisa Gillmor Lisa Gillmor at her final State of the City address as Mayor. Her 33 years of elected public service is inspirational and it’s been a privilege working alongside her to serve and strengthen Santa Clara!

I will always fight to ensure every kid has access to a great education, quality healthcare, and any needed safety net supports so they can grow up and live up to their highest potential. I am proud to be recognized as one of 20 California legislators with the “Pro-Kid Champion” designation for scoring 100% on the Children Now 2026 Pro-Kid Scorecard. Kids rely on us to make good decisions on their behalf, so we should!

My team and I participated in the 57th Santa Clara Parade of Champions where we shared available state resources for residents, passed out pumpkins, and gave coloring books to local kids! Thank you to the talented Wilcox National Art Honor Society students who provided attendees free face painting at my booth! It was great to see so many smiling faces of friends and residents!
