I’d like to personally thank all the selfless volunteer firefighters and personnel of Council, New Meadows and Indian Valley fire departments who showed up to last nights tragic incident. The loss of one’s Home and beloved pets, is truly heartbreaking. My heart goes out to the homeowner for their loss. With every devastating loss brings very tough, very real new beginnings. Never forget, we are the community that cares!

As the smoke clears and the dust settles, I wanted to publicly thank my voters, supporters and everyone that helped with my campaign that ended in success.

I also want to deeply apologize for taking 10 days to thank everyone. I wanted to make sure I didn’t forget anyone while keeping some folks anonymous based on their personal preference.

First and foremost, none of this would have been possible without Trina Jokela, my campaign manager! She devoted selfless time and endless effort into my campaign from start to finish doing virtually everything. She created all my posters and flyers. She coordinated everything with the newspaper. She set up and made my ‘coffee with THE candidate’ event a complete success. She was behind me and fully supported me at the Forum, as well as every step of the way. Thank you Trina!

I’d like to thank my wife, Kaija for always standing beside me and supporting all of my crazy ideas.
