Even our little glow needs a break every now and then. In celebration of Labor Day, Firefly will be closed Monday, September 7.

We’ll be back on Tuesday, September 8, rested, recharged, and ready to get back to work! 💜💚

✨ TWO WAYS TO GLOW WITH FIREFLY! ✨

Looking for a way to give back to local children and families? We’ve got two opportunities to make a difference this September! 💜💚

🍼 DIAPER DRIVE
Help stock the Diaper Bank by bringing a package of diapers to Firefly! Donations can be dropped off at 830 N. 14th St., Suite 201 in Council Bluffs:

📅 Tuesday, Sept. 8 | 6–7:30 PM
📅 Saturday, Sept. 12 | 10 AM–12 PM

Can’t make those times? No worries! Diaper donations are also welcome weekdays from 9 AM–4 PM.

✨ GLOWING DAY OF SERVICE
Roll up your sleeves and join us for a few hours of fun, service and community impact! Volunteers will help with projects like assembling wellness kits, preparing resources and refreshing our campus. No special skills needed—just a willingness to lend a hand!

📅 Tuesday, Sept. 8 | 6–7:30 PM
📅 Saturday, Sept. 12 | 10 AM–12 PM
👨‍👩‍👧 All ages are welcome! (Volunteers 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.)

Whether you bring a box of diapers, volunteer your time, or do both, you’ll be helping Firefly support local children and families. 💜💚

This peer-led support group offers a safe, welcoming space for parents to talk, listen, laugh, vent, and connect with others who truly understand. Whether you're navigating postpartum challenges, toddler tantrums, teenage attitudes, or just trying to figure it all out one day at a time—you don’t have to do it alone.
No pressure. No judgment. Just real conversations and real support.

Firefly would like to take a moment to recognize one pretty incredible human who has earned a very special title around here… our Diaper Genie! ✨

Every month, she collects diaper donations from throughout the community, loads up her car, and delivers them to our office so we can get them into the hands of families who need them most.

Angela doesn’t just show up with a car packed full of diapers — she shows up with the biggest smile, a kind heart, and a genuine desire to help families in our community.

It may seem like a simple thing, but having diapers available can make a HUGE difference for a family. Month after month, she helps make sure we have them on hand when parents come through our doors needing a little extra support.

Thank you for keeping our little butts covered!!! 💚💜
