My recently published book “The 13 Unsung Heroes,” Honors the 13 Marines who gave all at the battle of My Loc on January 20th 1968, and all those who fought in this battle. The stain glass window was commissioned by our XO, Major Throm, and it can be seen in the Chapel at MCRD Parris Island. This stain glass window depicts the Hand of God carrying to Heaven the 13 Marines who were killed during the battle of My Loc.
